Working as a documentary photographer, I create photographs that tell a story. Sometimes I create a collection of photographs that form a photo essay; another time, it's one stand-alone photo that often captures a split second in time others don't see.
And it's having the ability to see these often fleeting moments that takes time to master.
So trust me when I say; nothing is a given in the world of photography.
It's a battle, and you have to fight for every photo.
But heck, it's worth it every time.
