Promoting Sussex tourism

Littlehampton Town Council hired me to create this tourism video to highlight the fantastic attractions the town offers and to promote it as a perfect destination for a family staycation. Working closely with the Council’s marketing team, I not only helped create the storyboard for the project, but I also filmed, produced and edited the final film. The Council shared the film on its social media channels and website, where it soon became a viral hit! Within ten days, it had racked up more than 24,000 views, was shared 181 times, and watched for a total of 8,700 minutes by people in multiple countries.

Homes England project

Homes England, a public body that funds new affordable housing, hired me to create a series of site update interview videos for the multi-million-pound flagship development, Northern Arc, in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. In this video, Pooja from John Sisk & Son, an international construction and engineering company and a development partner on the project, talks about the work she has been carrying out on site.

Multi-storey car park marathon

Reclaim The Streets is my video documenting a unique running event in Worthing – the UK’s first multi-storey marathon! I created a short documentary about the event using a mix of video footage, still photographs, video interviews, and a fantastic soundtrack. The video has received thousands of views and has helped to promote the event and the organisers’ business to their ideal customers; the running community in Sussex.

Brighton Pride Parade

Brighton Pride is an annual LGBTQ+ pride event held in the city. One of the main events during the weekend is the renowned, colourful parade, which starts on the seafront and makes its way through the streets of Brighton and Hove. This style of event video perfectly frames the setup, start and parade and is ideal for promoting the event on a website or across social media platforms.

Worthing Half Marathon

It’s Fine. I Ran Today is a short video I created to document the Worthing Half Marathon. Shot single-handed, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of the running event in the Sussex seaside town. A quick turnaround was required, so I filmed, edited and uploaded it to social media on the same day. The video has been viewed more than 18,000 times on Facebook alone.

Bird & Blend Tea Co

For The Love Of Tea is a promotional video I produced for Bird & Blend Tea Co. (formerly Bluebird Tea Co.) in the North Laine area of Brighton. Now a successful business with stores across the UK, Bird & Blend has come a long way since its inception – and it was that history and heritage that I sought to capture when I shot the piece at their first-ever outlet in Brighton . The resulting video is an excellent example of how I use my photojournalist and creative visual skills to tell the story of a business.
